A magnificent fresco on the wall of a city that has become very sad in recent years, where unemployment, poverty and repression continue to grow. Street artists try to give meaning and add a little beauty to a world that is very deprived of it.

I could sense the discontent in the scrawled graffiti around the city.
I was only there on a short visit, but the economy seemed to be improving. Too slowly for many, I’m sure.

What a beauty, Debs! I love the sparkle of the umbrella, and that little boy’s expression is priceless. You need to be having words with those unhappiness engineers again, because I love sharing your stuff. 😦 🙂
