This mural features 4 women activists for #8M, International Women’s Day, highlighting their fight for change in women’s rights and acceptance in society. It is the work of street artist, Spok (aka Félix Reboto) and is unmissable given its size and prominent position on the Gran Via. It took him 5 days to complete.

I edited a photo I had of a section of the Berlin Wall for this week, evidence that things can change as well as a bit of a nod to your choice of street art: https://wp.me/p2owKx-1dE

Fabulous work of art Debbie, thanks for contributing. It always amazes me how the artists manage to paint such large scale murals.

Me too! Keeping everything in proportion must be a challenge! Balancing on ladders and scaffolding would be a challenge for me too!

I couldn’t miss this one! There are some great spots in Madrid for street art, but the Gran Via is not usually one of them.
