Intriguing and beautifully done.

I was thinking that she was either asking for something or offering something, then I read you had that same thought. It’s definitely an enigma.

She looks very sad.

Great mural Debbie, but her sad eyes reminded me of a beggar.
Thanks for contributing.

Yes, beggar was my first impression. Now I’m not sure.

Unusually old-looking mural. I wonder if it really dates to a few hundred years ago (unlikely, considering the condition of the paint) or if it’s intentionally designed to look like very early renaissance religious paintings. And as you say — the glowing blue sphere in her hand is also a mystery.
Fascinating!

The doors great, but she’s going to have to stoop to get in! Lovely bit of art.

I like your door but is more impressed by that street art beside it. Sadness and fear in those eyes..

A little peeling gem in a narrow street in the Ghetto area

Beautiful door, but I can’t make out what’s in her hand …
Am still thinking about why you cooldn’t see my One Word Sunday links. While in bed, it came to me, that we had several electrical outages in Sep. and Oct. – even though I had my posts published ahead, I was not able to link without electricity. It didn’t effect All Seasons, since I responded to the people who linked, when the power was back on.

That may be the case – not a big problem apart from me missing you off the thank you list!
And someone has added something to her hand, which is annoying because now we don’t know what, if anything, was there originally. I’m thinking maybe a crystal of some sort. In the google maps 2018 shot there was a pale blue glow without the added sticker

It’s a great example of stencil art – the peeling and wrinkled paper adds character

I enjoy your interpretations, Becky! I was thinking either Mother Teresa or a beggar

Obviously a very old painting due to the cracking around her. Very striking, I wonder what the artist original intent was.

Hard to tell – I’m not sure if she is giving something or begging
