Debbie, am trying every day to get to see your unusual, and undoubtedly cheerful thumbnail image for All Seasons. No luck up till now – it’s all the blogs in Europe I can’t reach. Tomorrow the weather supposed to look up somewhat. Maybe till then!
That takes me back a few years. On our annual working class holidays, in a caravan of course, to Herne Bay on the Kent coast, we would reserve one day for an excursion to Margate and that was the day when an infant of 8-10 years would visit Dreamland. Mum even remembered it from her younger days, so it must have been something. I remember the entrance through the concrete corridor that opened up into the fairground. I did not realise it would still exist, although it looks more streamlined from the photos than I remember it.
It ws closed from around 2003 till 2015. It has been renovated and parts of it are Grade II listed. I’ll get into the park one of these day sand share the wander here.
