La Estrecha, Valencia, Spain, July 2020
This building in Valencia is believed to have the narrowest facade in Europe, so narrow that stories tell of a girl living there having to dress in the street for communion as she couldn’t get out of the door if fully clothed beforehand.
The narrow building, La Estrecha, is owned by the bar next door, a place that is as proud of its own beauty as it is of the slimness of the building next door.
Interestingly, the slimness issue that many of us suffer, seems to be shared by this narrow building. In 2015 it was only 105 cm. wide, but now it is proud of its wider girth of 107 cm.
