And I see there are even phones in them! My s-i-l and I found a phone booth out in the middle of nowhere a few years ago, but the next year it was gone. 🙂 We had a rotary phone for some years and our daughters’ friends sometimes wondered what it was.

They are becoming a part of history. I notice you tagged it telephone box, we called them the “phone booth” , and it was 10 cents to make a call

A nice take on doors this week. There are still a few knocking around here and there.

Yes, current figures seem to 10,000 still on the streets, but only about 50% still acting as a working phone.

Sadly not, but there is at least a row of different designs here. I’ll be back to take more shots when there’s some light – these were taken at night.
