Spring kicked off spectacularly with carpets of bluebells, and we have progressed through dandelions, forget-me-knots and cow parsley. Now it is the turn of the thistles to make their show.

They arrived late and I thought I had got my weeks muddled up. But then they turned up and what amazing peonies! Who on earth (or elsewhere) invented them? 😉

Precisely! We had some in my garden, and they used to decay so gracefully! I am loving the Coral coloured ones
