I spent the first 20 years of my life in London, Bethnal Green. You know how much I appreciate your views of London: barbican, Shoreditch, Brick Lane and the Thames. I love seeing your photos, even if it is perhaps no longer the old London with its brick buidings that it was in my childhood. You can even have nostalgic feelings for the old brick attached houses. 🙂

Had the world not turned upside down, I would have been in London in three weeks time. Oh well, your excellent photo will have to do!

I know you must be. I’m lucky enough to have been in and avoided the crowds and I have to say the weather was very kind, giving me some great light.
