   • It’s an old shot that I love. And that has just reminded me that the cathedral is open this evening for candles and lights. Not sure I’ll have time to get there though. 😦

       • Doing too many things! I’m off to Mont St Michel Sunday night so need to clear as much work as possible.

       • oh wow how wonderful. On the ferry? If so, be prepared. Our friends came via ferry this week and the French are incredibly laid back about social distancing and masks!

       • Exactly what they did. The biggest shock for them was that the boat had shut the main restaurant where you could social distance, but left the buffet open!!

       • Yes I’d read that. They don’t explain why they think that’s the safer option!

       • It’s bizarre . . .they also said the bit about waiting in your car until you are shown to the lifts by staff is nonsense. It was a free for all!!

         Thank goodness that masks and hand-washing works 🙂
