Wallace and Gromit on the walls of Bristol, July 2020

These pieces are the work of local Bristol street artist, Cheo. The cute bumble bee that you spot in each mural is his trademark character.

And a very smart Wallace starred in adverts for Harvey Nicholls when they opened in Bristol a few years ago – dressed in Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander McQueen!

I’ve got to say, that doesn’t seem right. Wallace is northern, he’d never dress like that.

They were a brilliant creation, and produced in Bristol (even though the setting and characterisation is clearly Yorkshire)
