    • I’m assuming they couldn’t get the deal they wanted and with property values rising they preferred to wait. It got a lot of complaints and became known at the Empty Skyscraper. Some homeless campaigners also got in and protested there for a week or so. We now have a charity for the homeless named after this building – not because the building supports the charity, but to make a point.
