Beautiful. Do you know London houses over 8 million residents, who collectively speak over 300 languages, including Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hokkien and of course English?
Yes, it’s an amazingly cosmopolitan city, with residents from all over the world, and a huge array of visitors too. I love learning languages and if I want a spot of practice it’s easy in London. I love listening in to conversations on the underground and working out what language it is.
I was delighted to find the flowers. The sunshine had surprised me, so I stood at the river edge enjoying a coffee and the rays (a COVID bonus as I would normally have been sitting at a cafe) and the shrub was right where I stood.

Very pretty. And so nice to see a beautiful sky in London – so often they are overcast in the photos I see.
