  1. Durham has long been on my list to visit in the UK and one day I’ll get there! I’ve yet to visit Newcastle as well, maybe I’ll manage to combine the two this year.

    Although I’m not sure why you linked my last quotation post to Sartre (except if you are alluring to “Hell is other people” and I am other people 😉). In any case, I am glad that today is a public holiday in this part of Germany because you set me on a labour of love: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/01/06/labour-of-love/
    for which I would not have found the time on a normal day. II found a poem and I ended up translating it, or at least make an attempt at doing so after being frustrated with the version in English I found online.
