This outdoor pool opened in May 1935 and continues to be a huge social asset for the people of Penzance.
It has an unusual triangular enclosure, with its walls designed to fit within surrounding rocks and to cope with the often harsh weather at sea. All of that was achieved with great style.

This is beautiful! I’ve heard there is a pool in Guam that sits in the ocean and depending on the tide, connects! Would love to visit both eventually.
