I’ve walked this bridge many a time, peering at the metal for tiny paintings. It’s been a while though – thank you for the good memories.

I always enjoy seeing it and crossing it. A lovely contrast with the many older bridges nearby.

That bridge wasn’t built when I was still living in the U.K. I went with a bridge from my archives although the bridge itself is a lot older than that and still in use:

It’s one of three lift bridges dating back to 1790 and designed by Thomas Telford, a Scottish civil engineer.

I’ve only crossed this bridge once, fortunately after it stopped bouncing!
