Thanks, Debbie! That is one of my favorite buildings I saw in my 1987 tour of Lisboa. I have a shadow photo that is very much looking up to its big brothers and sisters posted here on your page. This monastery is part of my memoir that I am working to publish in the next year; Supergringa in Spain.

I love Lisbon anyway, but this monastery is special. And the cloisters are simply stunning.

Thank you, Debbie. I’m attempting to work on it, but we have a death in the family. As for the monastery, the architecture is very inspired and contemplative.
