And what were those things in aid of??? It’s makes for a good splash of colour in an otherwise dull (as I remember) town

Not my favourite city, though I was only there for half a day, but this was below Crociferi, a wonderful street full of churches and monasteries. Just there for a dash of colour I think.

Oh, OK. I didn’t spend much time there, why would you! Oh, and did you know there’s a posthumous Camilleri coming soon? Apparently he left instructions tha it was only to be published after his death

Oh no, I didn’t. I havent read his last 2 yet but was wondering if they would invent more. Sounds as though he has written a closer that won’t allow continued inventions! I’ll be looking out for it.

Funnily enough, I didn’t think LGBTQ, it just seemed to fit the place. But you’re probably right, Becky. The place was also lit up for the Bellini festival
