Hastings pier, East Sussex, October 2021
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

My hometown pier, mind you I also lived in Weston-S-Mare, so the fire on both was purely coincidental…..honest 🙂 My post is also water related https://alondonmiscellany.wordpress.com/2021/10/30/low-tide-beneath-the-millennium-bridge/

This was my first time on Hastings pier and I have to say I loved it. So much space, and I loved the upper decker.

Hi Debbie
Your Hastings Pier photo is so real and dynamic that my fear of falling into the drink came alive! What a way to start a Saturday morning.
Here’s mine with a six word title:

Thanks Debbie! With a fright like that I can skip my morning coffee!. It must have felt a little unsafe to you getting so close to the edge with your camera?!

That’s good to know! Although the out of the way places are sometimes more interesting!

Where you still standing on a platform or walking the plank? Great lines.

A beautiful shot and great to hear that the Olympus kit survived the watery traumas!

Thanks Debbie. I’ve just added a bit more detail about the incident in Georgian Bay. The only casualty was the roll of Kodachrome in the camera.

Does look like the end. Tricky to walk on! 🙂 See you in about 3 hours and then later in the day (or early in my morning.)
