I love piers, and they always feel so British. I know there are others out there, but I think we have real talent in mixing beauty and tackiness in a pleasant way.

I like Saltburn but have never seen it that tranquil.

Not half bad….. and a long pier still intact. 😃

It’s the last one standing in Yorkshire. And it has had a traumatic history, but underwent massive renovation in 2000
