Armazéns Cunhas, Porto, December 2021
This family-run warehouse is the place to buy good value bed linen, pyjamas, table cloths, etc. Or maybe better still, the place to gaze at from outside and enjoy its Art Deco styling.

What a fabulous find. I do hope it survives the next generation.

Funny, I have a photo of the same warehouse! I know a few people called Cunha in the Estoril/Cascais area

It’s the Christmas lights that really catch the eye…

It was aged Art Deco 🙂

It was a great building, showing its age. The shop opened 1898 and has remained in same family ever since. It;’s actually 3 buildings with an Art Deco facade added on the front. I had gone back to see it one evening as I though it might be lit up, but it wasn’t so I had to make do with the Christmas lights. And ISO 5000.
