Ice cream comes to the Abbey, St Albans, March 2022
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

We are looking forward to the return of summer in North Dakota. In a couple weeks, we leave Arizona and head back to winter.

No sign of summer here. Waiting for spring!

There’s an ice cream truck that goes around our neighborhood but not just on summer. 😉. Would you be kind enough to link my post today if you have a moment? We’re on California for a couple of days and I didn’t take my laptop. For some reason my iPad doesn’t make it easy to link. Sigh. Thanks. If you don’t have time, that’s fine too.

Great juxtaposition of fun and serious 🙂 My photo pokes fun at the US penchant for consumption: https://fakeflamenco.com/2022/03/12/cars-how-many-are-too-many/

Yes it is surely on the way and the sight of the ice-cream van on the cliffs around here is indeed a happy sighting.

Love the backdrop of the sky & clouds with this one 👏 Icecream vans always seem to come round here during the summer once I’ve gone to bed because of a 0300 start 😩 Here’s my not quite so summery post: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2022/03/12/i-found-a-wandering-snow-susan/

Different signs of summer approaching. Mine has a more maritime feel — at least in the title: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2022/03/12/the-waves-keep-coming-every-year/

I think so – but I’m not sure that name would be recognised! 🙂

Me too, but haven’t heard any yet. This one remains silent – perhaps not to compete with the cathedral bells

I didn’t use one of my photos except in the header this time Debbie. I just had to 😂
