I love that this sculpture is in a private garden in London. I think it is fantastic. I have no idea who the artist is.

Hi Debbie
Your image of the trains is amazing. If it weren’t for the figure walking on the right-hand side, I would have suspected some darkroom magic afoot.
Here’s my take on One Word Sunday, with a lot more than one word however:

Ah, Sao Bento….the station I never got to see when I was in Porto. Here’s my almost symmetry: https://suejudd.com/2022/03/13/symmetry-2/

That’s a shame, Sue, but Porto had plenty of other wonders to enjoy 🙂

It would be a lot harder to get around in Europe without trains! Great views. Enjoy your week! Emille

If it weren’t for that person and the buildings, Debbie, it would be like looking at a mirror image!
My post this week is a more natural kind of symmetry… kind of… https://wp.me/sVkLb-symmetry

Yes I sometimes think it is a reflection as I like taking that sort of shot. I enjoyed your springtime symmetry. One to cheer our spirits 😀

Love the symmetry of the roof, very grand for a small station. https://alondonmiscellany.wordpress.com/2022/03/13/symmetry/

The facade is very much beaux arts and symmetry seems to have played a large part in the design of the building both in and out

How long did you stand there for this to happen? 😉
I took a more natural approach: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2022/03/13/natural-symmetrics/

Not long as it happens – the trains were in and waiting for me 🙂
It’s a stunningly beautiful station – I must share images of the main building and its azulejos
And I enjoyed our natural approach, Elke – and you chose a great topic

I can never resist capturing symmetry if I spot it, and it really shows off the beauty of this station.
I enjoyed your examples, Maria – great to see the natural symmetry in contrast to my man-made

at first I thought it was a perfect reflection – everything fits.

Thanks for the mention, Debbie. ❤️ It’s always appreciated. I’m in California for a couple days yet and can’t link my One Word post so if you have time to do so, I’d appreciate it. I’ll be able to respond to comments and visit a bit but enjoying a bit of family time.
Love your symmetry shot!

Thanks for another beauty this week, Janet: https://sustainabilitea.wordpress.com/2022/03/13/symmetry-2/
You’ve made clever use of natural symmetry
And I hope you’re managing to relax in California. Dx
