Cherry blossom at Kew Gardens, London, April 2022
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

If in this world there were no such thing as cherry blossoms, perhaps then in springtime our hearts would be at peace.

Yes, a very very good reason to look up!
I’m in Belfast, just visited the shipyard where the Titanic was built: https://anthropologist.wordpress.com/2022/04/30/six-word-saturday-visiting-the-titanic-museum-in-belfast/

So true, It´s spring madness! I´ve been passing by the rows of cherry blossoms everyday now but still, I can´t help but stare and looked up…

If you are my size, you almost always have to look up. Splendid blooms!
I love our old cherry tree (with white, rather than pink blooms). So does Henry – but this year he hasn’t allowed me to catch him in it. So, something different, still spring and blooms and all that: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2022/04/30/sometimes-you-need-to-go-low/

You too, Jo. Looks like being a rather grey bank holiday here. So I’ll have to imagine this blue sky I think.

Love a cherry blossom which looks good against the sky. I was cheeky again 🙂

Yes it’s hard not too smile when there’s a floral splash against the blue sky. And I enjoyed your cheekiness, Brian.

And with today’s greyness I’ll need to keep looking at this picture to remind me.

Agree! Went to the capital yesterday for a visit to the Royal Opera and also visited the cherry trees in Kungsträdgården on my walk through the city.
