Finchley Road tube station, London
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

Nice and crisp black and white photo that puts me in the mood for black coffee 🙂 Perky Blenders… made me think of Peaky Blinders, the Netflix TV series too. Here is my contribution, https://starrysteps.wordpress.com/2023/06/10/fuzzy-flower-moment-in-the-sun/

I adore your Perky coffee, Debbie, and now I want to travel because of those books.
Here’s a little something with six words in the title: https://babsjeheron.wordpress.com/2023/06/10/heron-hawks-excellent-hair-raising-adventure/

Nothing like coffee and a good book or two! You might recall I did a whole series of images on said subject during the first lockdown….Anyway, here’s todays post: https://suejudd.com/2023/06/10/remains-of-welsh-slate-mining-industry/

Indeed. That was a fun series that you did. This was a great little coffee shop, with charming service and great coffee and cakes. And books, too!

Sounds good to me- we’re you starting a long train journey to somewhere exciting? This Saturday I have actually ventured beyond my garden and I’m exploring Lanzarote and it’s delights. A great mix – like your post – of things that inspire. Landscape, art, good food and the unexpected! http://carylbeach.art/2023/06/10/amazing-cacti-growing-in-volcanic-ash/
Have a great Saturday 🙏🏼😊

I have the same problem, and it’s often incomprehensible!!

I was avoiding the football crowds in West Hampstead and sitting at quiet Finchley Road. And then popped to Hackney Wick for a wander.
Enjoy Lanzarote, Caryl – on my list as the landscape looks wonderful.

I seem to be keeping myself rather busy at the moment. Not entirely sure what with! And I’m not doing much reading. I keep thinking about Six Degrees and never quite getting around to it. I’ll try to mend my ways! 🙂
These books were a complete coincidence, as while I was sitting in London my sister was in Milan. so this mix of coffee and books caught my eye. As it happens, I’m off to Sicily soon for a serious photo workshop and I’m pulling together some of my work to take with me. I’ll probably be taking Tokyo with me so I’m still Japanese fiction mode when I do get around to reading.

Lovely! That reminds me that have a guide book for Italy too which was bought a long time ago and never used – I should find it and compare my travel notes with it 😃. My entry here:

The name of the coffee made me smile. Coffee is essential in my life and with a view even more so.
