Peace doves

Peace doves in St Albans Cathedral, Hertfordshire, January 2024

10,000 paper doves are hanging down from inside the 1,000 year old Norman tower in St Albans Cathedral. This stunning installation is the work of sculptor, Peter Walker.

The display runs until 13 February 2024, and there are number of events taking place in conjunction with this, including late night viewings with musical accompaniment and a performance of Romeo and Juliet by OVO (a great performance that I have already seen at the Open Air Theatre). More details available here.
