Lovely splash of colour in a monochrome view. Sorry for the late post, but spent three and a half frustrating day without the internet, now minus fingernails 🙂 Should have been last weekends challenge as we were without water for three days https://alondonmiscellany.wordpress.com/2024/05/21/splash/

Needless to say, this splash isn’t near our house, but it’s refreshing nonetheless.

Thanks, Margaret. It was a very striking building – all concrete at the back but enamel and glass at the front

It was a lovely building – very un-Corbusier!

It was matched by the weather that day – a lovely sunny day with crisp snow to reflect it 🙂

A good find Debbie. I like a bit of colour that surprises amongst the drab

It wasn’t at all what I expected from Le Corbusier – shame he didn’t live longer as it would be have been interesting to see where his move to enamel and glass took him.

Indeed, very innovative

Very nice and, to me, unexpected use of “splash.” See you later.

It surprised me too. I was going to use it for my yellow post a few weeks ago and then had a new idea 🙂
Sleep well, Janet!
