The Booker Library pop-up at Waterstones Piccadilly, London

The Booker Library is a unique pop-up bookshop offering visitors the chance to discover and shop the Booker Prizes backlist. With winners and runners up of both the Booker Prize and the International Booker Prize, it’s the perfect opportunity to discover something you missed. And of course this year’s winner, Orbital, is there too – one that I highly recommend.
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS. You’ll find me on Instagram @travel_travel_with_intent and @dsmythphoto

Thanks for this inspiring post. I’d love to visit a Booker Library pop-up! Mine is a predictably winter theme: https://fakeflamenco.com/2024/12/21/its-beginning-to-look-like-winter/

A pop up bookstore! How cool but also an incredible amount of work.

Yes, a massive amount of work, and for just a few weeks.

That looks so welcoming. Pity it’s out of reach! I have a completely different kind of library on display: https://picturesimperfectblog.com/2024/12/21/books-need-binding-help-them-now/

It was a great idea. And just perfect if struggling for a new read or some Christmas present inspiration

I wish we had that in my city. I like the display of winners over the years.

Love a Bookshop…. one of the few traditional trades that seems to survive on our High Streets. I have gone for a more predictable theme for today :- https://davidoakes-images.com/2024/12/21/winter-solstice-4/
