Thanks, Brian. I didn’t spot the shadow until I looked at the image. It was such a dark room that I had to be adventurous! Unfortunately the school opens after school, so after sunset, and power is a much sought after item in Cuba. Along with many other things 😦

We went to this school twice (had to abandon the first visit due to one of the power cuts that are now a feature of life in Cuba) and it just called for some long exposures.

Yes. A shadow of a long exposure gives a blurry and I think eerie look. I didn’t even see the shadow until I looked at the image.

Yes, 1/4 sec. It was such a dark space I decided to try long exposure to reduce ISO and add a bit of mood
