Most of the cars have dedicated owners who keep them in good condition. As long as they can get the parts. For those who can it is their source of income.

They take excellent care of these cars, and their pals are always there to help. When I was in Cuba, I made a gazillion photos as well. 😃

In the 1980s I enjoyed seeing cars on the road that were more colourful. I was hoping for a colourful future. When I look at our roads nowadays it’s black, grey, anthrazit, sable, inky, slate, silver, white, with the occasional dark blue in between. Yeah for red!

I agree, Elke. Something has nee everyone go for anonymous colours. And I find most car designs anonymous too these days. The emphasis seems to be on size not style.

Your Cuba pictures are always so interesting. The yellow and blue shirt made me realize this is likely at some kind of intersection. When we see old cars we think museums.
