Boats and Cowes

aIMG_1580

A few years ago I was lucky enough to be invited to Cowes Week: not to compete you understand, just to sail alongside and drink champagne!

Cowes Week is one of the longest-running regular regattas in the world.  It takes place in early August each year, and is a popular part of the British social calendar, coming just after Glorious Goodwood.

If you want to visit, it will take place 3-10 August 2013 this year.
