Following on from Loo With a View, I have Showers with a View.
Starting at Borana in Kenya, where the bathroom and the shower itself gave spectacular views down to the waterhole below.
Next stop, Tubu Tree Camp in Botswana’s beautiful Okavango Delta, where the outdoor shower was both refreshing and inspirational. No hanging your towel on the fence though, as the cheeky monkeys were always watching for an opportunity to embarrass the human visitors!
Moving further into the Delta, Kijera Camp had a similar outdoor shower with watery views on deck and down below.
And finally, Toka Leya camp on the Zambezi.

Thank you for sharing this, it’s really great to see far off places. And what views! Much nicer than looking at a shower curtain.

Yes, I suppose the alternative is to have a curtain with a view. Maybe I should do that to prevent withdrawal symptoms when not travelling!

This is fancier than my dacha facilities that I grew up with!

I can imagine! This is my type of camping, and living for that matter. It was winter in Botswana but I still made sure I used the outdoor shower (there was an indoor one too for the wimpier members of my family! )
