I’m not great at making New Year’s Resolutions – or at least, not good at keeping any that I do I make.
But I do have a travel bucket list that I am working my way through resolutely. The trouble is, as fast as I cross something off, I add something on!
This year, I stuck to my target of one new country a year, with two in fact: Botswana and Zambia. I crossed off three other items, albeit related: Okavango Delta in Botswana; helicopter over Victoria Falls; setting up a travel blog and reaching 500 followers in year one.
Here is my list as it stands now:

That is an impressive travel resolution. I also love travelling and envy you for the great planning you do while travelling. I would also like to visit some of these places. I am also a food enthusiast. Can you tell me what food is best in each of these places?

I would love to know what you thought of Zambia, I lived there for 10 years when I was growing up it was fabulous back then, not so sure now though! The Victoria Falls are fabulous aren’t they.

To be honest, I didn’t get to see much. I liked Livingston. Apart from that I only saw the national park and river area close to the Falls. I adored the river – so beautiful and such great game viewing. The people were very friendly and many of the staff at the resort were from Livingston or nearby villages which was good to see. Whereabouts did you live?

The real problem, I’m guessing, is that you’ll be adding things to that list faster than you’ll be crossing them off!

I’m sure too. Which probably means I need to do about 5 a year, assuming I have another 20 years of travelling in me! And then there’s the issue of affording it all…
