Three Wishes with Dali

In the gardens of the Dali Museum in St Pete, stands a Wish Tree, a brightly decorated ficus tree.

Visitors and locals alike are invited to tie a ribbon to the strings that fly gaily in the wind.

Each ribbon, or museum wrist band, represents a wish, in a ritual that relates to Hindu and Scottish traditions, apparently.

Traditional or not, it provides a bright and tranquil corner to these lovely gardens.
