Windows with a Purpose

DSC04237

Chester is an attractive town with some beautiful old buildings (though it also has its share of planning disasters).  This particular window caught my eye because of the shop sign.  It’s for W H Smith, a high street newsagent found all over Britain, but here they have gone the extra mile to put up a sign that is in keeping with the style of the town.

  1. Far too many years since I got to visit Chester! Thanks for the glimpse back! I like that WHS opted to use a location-appropriate sign for their place, too. 🙂
