The Venice tourist shops overflow with gawdy masks of all shapes and sizes. Every now and then, though, you ‘ll come across a store or workshop producing the sort of mask that would make you want to return to Venice during Carnevale just to have an excuse to wear one. I’m not sure this one is in that category for me, but it certainly gets top marks on the Odd Ball scale.
