Does look hot and dry — I couldn’t blame you for shooting from within. The wipers, mirror and small white post form a triangle that keeps your gaze going round — nicely framed!! I prefer the the image without the color boost.
It was already an interesting image…but you made it even better. I think the wipers add a bit of humour and….well, we can imagine you sitting there and being there:) Thanks for sharing with Mandarin Orange Monday:))

Since these houses are the same color as the hills, I wonder if they’re hewn out of the rocks, or (separately) built (rhetorical question:) ).

They are certainly taking advantage of the terrain – building into hills or underground for protection from heat. –
