Knife Edge Bridge, on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, brings you very close to the awe-inspiring falls. The view down to the swirling waters deep below is dizzying.
Built in 1968, this bridge teeters along for 40 metres from the mainland to the headland.
Before the waters slow down for the dry season, you’ll need your waterproofs as this bridge will take you through the spray, seemingly beneath the rainbow. At any time of year, the crossing is a tricky walk for those with vertigo (I should know!)
At the height of the rainy season, the sound of the water crashing over the basalt cliffs is deafening. The river here is around 2 kilometres wide, the gorge is over a hundred metres deep and more than five hundred million cubic meters of water plummet over the edge every minute.
Travel with Intent 
Victoria Falls is truly one of the greatest in the world. You left out the Devil’s Pool where you can have a bath literally on the edge of the waterfall 🙂

I crossed but was absolutely terrified! The worst thing was knowing that I had to come back again!
