This is week 3 of the One Four Challenge, in which Robyn invites us to take one photo and produce four different images, over a period of four weeks.
This week I have used Picmonkey to convert to Black and White and then used selective colouring to return some parts of the image to its original colours.

I like the effect on the salamander, I second/third the cropping of the bike and the purple bit on top was a bit distracting away from the subject too?

Great use of selective colour. I agree with Ben’s comment: a bit more cropping to remove the bike would be great.

I like that you have used selective colour, possibly cropping out the bike would make the image stronger.

Excellent pop of color! I am working with a dragon/salamander this round. Might have to give this method a shot later today.

I love what you have done this week. It gives a 3 dimensional look to the salamander

Hi Debbie, I like the mix of selective colour and B&W – its very inviting 😃
Have just realised I missed you last week as well. I definitely like that strong B&W. Suits the image very much 😃
Debbie, would you mind tagging with One Four Challenge? If you would, that’d be great and others will find you in Reader. Thanks heaps!
