Riddle & Finns was founded in 2006, with a restaurant in the narrow and bustling Lanes of Brighton. They soon gained a reputation for fine seafood, especially their oysters.

They pride themselves on serving fresh seafood, always from trusted, local suppliers. As a result, their popularity has justified the opening of a second location, this time in the arches on the seafront promenade.
I was on the seafront on a sunny January day and took advantage of the unseasonal weather to have a late lunch on the terrace. Both food and drink were excellent, and the views provided the icing on the cake.

Champagne and Oysters!

My husband and I have been to the restaurant in the Lanes and had a lovely meal there. Under the arches is certainly a brilliant place to be, particularly when the weather is good.

I went to the one in the Lanes ages ago. This one under the Arches wins on a sunny day

Adorable! Do you live in Brighton? If so, I’m super jealous. Brighton has been on my bucket list for a long time.

No, I live north of London, but there is a direct train from my local station to Brighton, making it an easy day trip 🙂

Manchester to collect my daughter from uni. Time for Easter break. So no big trips for the next 3 weeks.
