This brightly coloured, possibly hallucinatory, mural decorates a small building at the entrance to Christiania in Copenhagen.
Christiania, also known as Freetown Christiania is a self-proclaimed autonomous area created in 1971 in a former military site. Civic authorities regard the place as a large commune, but the area does have a unique status in that it is regulated by a special law, the Christiania Law of 1989; its cannabis trade was tolerated by authorities until 2004.

Entrance to a magical world. Thanks for contributing to this week’s Monday Mural.
