I arrived back from Istanbul a few hours ago and am slowly working through my photos.
For this week’s challenge, I thought I would share a couple of rooftop views.
Seeing the city from these viewpoints emphasises the mix of old and new and highlights the mix and beauty of the architecture in this fabulous city.

A great variety of old and modern buildings. Did you have enough time to walk through an old city street with markets?

I was there fr 10 days in all and did loads of wandering. It is a wonderful place
