I have been asked to submit my five best photos of the year to an online photo gallery, but I’m struggling to choose! I have my favourites, but that is sometimes because of the memories attached rather than about the photo itself.
So I would appreciate your views please – either by voting in the poll below or by leaving me a comment (or both!). You can vote more than once (though you have to place each vote separately I’m afraid) so feel free to vote for up to five images.
.
Thank you for your help!
In no particular order – Hands, Domes, istanbul dawn (pink), Red Tram, istanbul dawn (gold)
Good luck with op!

Interesting to read differing thoughts, Debbie. I saw this on my phone but without the photos so had to wait and come and see which you’d chosen. I’ve only voted once and that’s for Horses in Camargue which is my standout, but I love Domes and Istanbul Dawn and Sunrise too. I’ll let you pick the other one 🙂

Thanks Jo. Horses is definitely winning at the moment. I’m going to choose the 5 on Monday.
As long as the cold that is threatening doesn’t happen, I’m having my op on Tuesday so I’ll be on a bit of a blogging break after that.

I’ve voted, now I’ll be interested to see the results of your straw poll. They’re all so darn good, no wonder you had a hard time choosing just 5.

Hi Debbie, I struggled to narrow my favourites down to 5. Here they are:
Horses in Camargue – movement and mood conveying strength and fragility
Connections – layers, colours and story
Grand Bazaar – light and story
Hands – perspective and focal point
Istanbul at Dawn – colours, texture and mood – the moment of peacefulness before the city awakens.

Okay..well they are all good, of course but best..hmm..I really like Connections, that is probably my favorite. Istanbul at sunrise, both horse pictures, and Domes are also favorites. But for best of the year, I have to go with Horses in Carmague. This picture shows not just your eye but also your knowledge and skill in the art of photography.

Thank you for putting so much thought into it Dawn – much appreciated! 😁 I think that is my favourite too, but I’m a bit emotionally attached to it!
