White Stuff or Wet Stuff

Copenhagen, January 2016

It was a great joy to find snow in Copenhagen when I arrived in mid-January this year.  After a mild, wet winter at home, the white stuff was a pleasure, and it looked marvellous on the zigzags in Bertel Thorvaldsens Plads.

In summer, though, this square has a fun water feature, a 16 metre diameter geometric pond designed by Jørn Larsen.

To my eyes at least, it was beautiful in the snow, but it attracted many more fans in the summer.

  1. You are so clever with your challenge photos, Debs. You constantly amaze me! Love the first two 🙂 But you’ve reminded me again that I haven’t been 😦 Will have to start scheming 🙂
