Grey Squirrel and a Big Smoke

This squirrel looked very much at home in a London cigar shop!

A colourful note:  the sepia shade made a Crayola appearance in 1935, but took an enforced break during World War II when the colour was not available. It didn’t make a reappearance until 1958.

This reddish-brown colour, familiar to us photographers who are either old or enjoy our editing, is named after the rich brown pigment that comes from the ink sac of the common cuttlefish, Sepia.

  1. Hello, I would think the squirrel would know it is bad to smoke. Cute shot! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

    • Oh, thank you! I really didn’t think I’d keep up with the daily challenge but I have enjoyed it so much that I have had no problem. Though I still have two missing from the beginning – I will do them eventually though!! 😎
