Street art in Marseille, work of Nhobi, France, May 2016
Hex colour ref: b2ec5d
A colourful note: In 2003, to mark their 100th anniversary, Crayola asked the public to name four new colours and vote four other shades into oblivion.
The bright green shade with the unusual name of Inch Worm was one of the new entrants, nominated by a young girl from Massachusetts.

This is lovely, how I wish I could paint like this. You are really great finding these odd and lovely paintings.

I’d swear we’ve seen this artist before. But where? I like the hate this mariner is wearing. Thanks for contributing to this week’s Monday Mural.

It’s a fun challenge that Jennifer also ran last year. I enjoyed it thwmso was keen to participate this year too. It gets me looking and thinking about colour – always good for a photographer.
