Swan White

Early morning at Venice carnival,  February 2017

box.pngHex colour reference:  #ededed

A colourful note:  this colour without a hue is a mixture of the frequencies of all the colours of the visible spectrum. It has represented purity and innocence over the centuries, including ancient priestesses dressed in white and the chaste white unicorn of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.

White was one of the original Crayola crayons back in 1903 and it has passed through a large range of alternative crayon names, such as Baby Powder, Coconut, Space Shuttle White,  Milky Way White, White House and Washington Space Needle.  Perhaps Swan White should be the next one.

Debs, I’m scheduling my six words this week because I’ll be away. I’ve just put a link in to your main site. Is that ok?
