Soviet telephone box in the Old City of Baku, Azerbaijan, March 2017

Hex colour reference: #dbd7d2
A colourful note: the timberwolf Crayola crayon was named after a large type of wolf with grey brindled fur, found mainly in northern North America. It earned this name as part of the 1992-93 naming competition.
The term timberwolf also gained fame for being the Secret Service code name for US President George H. W. Bush.

I did 5 nights in Baku and 2 in Sheki. Would have liked a bit longer to see more of the surrounding area.

The phone box is a stark comparison to the general warmth of the Old City with its dark wood and colourful rugs.

Such interesting facts about Timberwolf. The phone booth makes me think of spy novels. I love the façade of the building next-door. Thanks for an interesting post.
