Cool, Debbie. You are showing me parts of the world I would never see otherwise. Both edits are beautiful.

I popped through Hanoi a few times – and it grew on me. I arrived during a typhoon and the inches of water plus massive heat and humidity didn’t welcome me. But by the end I loved the city. I am already planning a return trip to see the south.
Have you spent time out there?

We lived in Saïgon for a few months while a house was getting ready for us in Cambodia. But I was only two. Don’t remember a thing. My first recollections are from Cambodia. See “The little boy and the tiger”:

Have a pleasant trip back to the south.

I’m always impressed when removing colour can leave something as exciting, or more exciting, than the original version.

Excellent shot. It’s beautifully isolated with no noise either side. For a change I prefer the coloured one!

Thanks Simon – though zooming in will reveal general noise! ISO 20000
