Rooftops of Sheki

Sheki,  Azerbaijan,  March 2017

The old streets of Sheki, in northern Azerbaijan, are full of fascinating buildings with great roofs.  Sadly, time, weather and cost of repair have taken their toll, and many have been repaired using corrugated metal rather than traditional materials.  I suppose metal has become the new tradition.
