Refurbished Courtroom, St Albans Museum + Gallery, Hertfordshire, June 2018

 

The Town Hall that dates back to 1831 reopened today following a 2-year renovation. The skylight above now guides light down on the visitors below, and onto their cups of tea and tasty cakes.

If you pop upstairs to enjoy an art exhibition in the Assembly Room, you can relish in the artificial light.
